2011 Multiplied Art Fair

London, 29 August 2011, Art Media Agency (AMA).

The Multiplied Art Fair was launched last year and is the only fair in the UK entirely dedicated to contemporary art in editions. The event will take place during the Frieze Art Fair at Christie’s in South Kensington and will be held from 14 to 17 October.

Editions in contemporary art regroup many art forms, concerning the ensemble of activities linked to the production of several artists. Prints, sculptures, photographs and art books will be presented by approximately forty international galleries. Christie’s press release has announced that sixteen new galleries will participate and that prestigious London galleries such as the Whitechapel Gallery and White Cube Gallery will remain at the heart of the fair.

In 2010, Chris Dent was invited to design the map for Multiplied Art Fair. This year, it is the young illustrator Jack Featherstone who will keep up the tradition.

The event will feature conferences, guided visits and projections.
