ChipChop gallery hosts first exhibition

Paris, 13 February 2012, Art Media Agency (AMA).

“La Générale” is to be the title of the first exhibition to take place at the ChipChop gallery. This inaugural show is to take place at the young gallery’s premises on 76 rue Quincampoix in Paris’ 3rd arrondissement.

The gallery, which specialises in contemporary photography, was founded by two aficionados of the genre in 2011. Its stated aim is to allow the general public to acquire works from €100. Works availiable at the gallery will be signed, numbered and sold with a certificate to prove their authenticity. Their exclusivity will be maintained through a policy of only allowing thirty copies of each work to be sold.

“La Générale” has been organised as part of the launching of the gallery’s website, www.chipchop.com. The works of eleven young contemporary photographers are to be presented in the exhibition: Emmanuel Biard, Neta Dror, Maxime Delvaux, Kevin Laloux, Philippe Echaroux, Guillaume Guérin, Stéfan Le Dû, Hélène Jayet, Keffer, Jérémie Lenoir and Albin Millot.

After this exhibition, a new exhibition will take place every month, each dedicated to a different artist. Details of these exhibitions will be announced on the gallery’s website, via which it is also possible to view and buy works displayed at the gallery.
